When you’re unaware, Clark Kent was accountable for so many legendary Hip-Hop moments like introducing JAY Z and Dame Sprint, producing three tracks on Cheap Doubt, discovering Shyne and being on the forefront of pushing sneaker tradition in Hip-Hop. The DJ had simply celebrated his 58th birthday just a few weeks in the past.
There have been rumours of his passing not way back, with just a few websites reporting that he’d died.
In the summertime, it was revealed that Angie Martinez was directing a documentary on Clark Kent, with appearances from Hov, Questlove and extra. God’s Favourite DJ: The Story of DJ Clark Kent will probably be much more particular every time it airs.
