Wolf Alice have introduced their fourth album, The Clearing. It’s the follow-up to 2021’s Blue Weekend, and so they recorded it in Los Angeles with Greg Kurstin and wrote it in North London. It’s due out on Aug. 29 by way of RCA, and you’ll see the quilt artwork beneath.
Together with the announcement comes their first new music in three years, “Bloom Child Bloom.” The accompanying video options choreography by Ryan Heffington and was directed by Colin Solal Cardo, and you’ll watch it beneath.

Concerning the track, vocalist Ellie Rowsell says, “I needed a rock track, to concentrate on the efficiency ingredient of a rock track and sing like Axl Rose, however to be singing a track about being a girl.
