After a prolonged absence from the entire, “Rap Up” sport, Mad Skillz has returned.
Over the weekend, the veteran MC made time to drop “The 2024 Rap Up,” his first end-of-year recap tune in three years. Whereas he had initially made these tracks one in all his chief claims to fame, Uncle Murda kind of commandeered it through the years. However, Skillz determined to tug up for 2K24, so right here we’re.
As was the case with each different “Rap Up,” Skillz lays out simply what went down in rap and popular culture at giant, breaking down Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ political losses, Diddy lawsuits, and extra.
“Andre 3k gave rap the boot/Y’all so wack 3 Stacks decide up his flute/And Nelly and Ashanti was again within the streets/And Cardi stated, ‘You ain’t ‘bout to Offset my peace,’” he spits on the monitor.
Elsewhere on the brand new effort, he makes time to provide himself a well-deserved pat on the again for his Grammy nomination for Greatest Spoken Phrase Poetry Album. He earned that one for his efforts on The Seven Quantity Ones. Mad Skillz certainly.
