Logic says he is dropping Playboi Carti-type music in 2025 as a result of “tremendous hip-hop” music would not carry dwelling the bacon prefer it used to.

On Friday (Nov. 8), TMZ caught up with the Maryland rapper on his technique to Detroit for the Motor Metropolis Comedian Con. Through the transient chat, Lo spoke about his August album Extremely 85.
“What I’ve observed is I have been on a run of constructing tremendous hip-hop music and that sh*t would not pay the payments,” Logic says within the video under. “It is as a result of I made all my cash earlier than doing pop and turn-up sh*t and I have been blessed sufficient to be able to make music from my coronary heart. Subsequent 12 months, I’ma f**okay em up. I am about to drop all this, like, Playboi Carti lure, turn-up sh*t and go get a bag and have enjoyable.”
Again in 2020, Logic introduced he can be giving up rap altogether. He even broke down in tears whereas giving a bittersweet farewell to followers. He has since had a change of coronary heart and launched three extra albums together with Vinyl Days (2022), School Park (2023) and the aforementioned Extremely 85 again in August.
In September, he revealed his new album might be known as Phonkadelic and previewed some music from the brand new LP on-line to his followers.
