Nelson’s son President Nelson confirmed the information to The Minnesota Star Tribune?. She died on Monday (Tuesday AEDT). Her reason for dying has not been reported.
Her half-sister Sharon stated, “She had her personal thoughts. She’s in a greater place.”

Nelson was the one full sister to American music icon Prince Rogers Nelson, who glided by the stage title Prince. She was two years youthful than the Purple Rain singer.
They shared dad and mom John L. Nelson and Mattie Della Shaw, who had been jazz musicians.
Nelson is survived by her two sons and half-siblings Sharon, Norrine Nelson and Omarr Baker.
