Fans demanded answer and the Atlanta native Rapper responded
21 Savage finally stepped in on the back-and-forth between Drake and Metro Boomin. During his recent Instagram Live, fans flooded him with questions about the feud between the Toronto rapper and the St. Louis producer.
After initially being annoyed by the topic cropping up during his session, 21 Savage reiterated his loyalty to both artists before expressing his belief in their ability to work things out.
“Hey, y’all, don’t bring that beef into my Live,” he addressed his followers. “Metro’s my bro, Drake’s my bro. They’ll sort that out when it’s time.”
Drake and Metro Boomin have been trading jabs since March, following the release of “We Don’t Trust You” .
Despite their previous collaborations, the album took a turn with several shots aimed at the OVO Sound hitmaker, especially notable from Kendrick Lamar on “Like That.”
Their exchange of jabs escalated, with Drizzy’s diss track “Push Ups” telling Metro to “shut your ho ass up and make some drums.”

In response, Metro launched the “BBL Drizzy” contest, urging fans and fellow artists to showcase their skills over a beat he crafted, featuring a sample of a woman singing “BBL Drizzy.”
The response was overwhelming, with submissions pouring in from various corners, and the beat gaining traction in clubs and weddings. Last week, Metro upped the ante by offering a $10,000 prize along with a free beat to the winner.
During this period, 21 Savage has remained silent on the issue. Given his collaborations with Drake on various projects and their recent completion of the ‘It’s All a Blur’ tour together, it’s no wonder fans were eager for answers, urging 21 Savage to pick a side.
